What is Shared Hosting?
Shared hosting consists of multiple websites on the same web server owned by the web host.
Shared hosting is where many websites reside on one web server connected to the Internet. This is generally the most economical option for hosting, as the overall cost of server maintenance is amortized over many customers. However if your site has high traffic, you might not want to go with shared hosting because sometimes resources aren’t shared equally when it comes to this hosting method.
Resources for storing files like hard drive space and RAM, can slow down if a site you’re sharing the server with has a lot of visitors or has miscoding.
Clearly this influences your website load times, therefore only go with shared hosting if your revenue doesn’t depend on your site’s performance.
